Aiming to boost economic ties with India, Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty will lead a delegation of 75 Canadian companies on a major trade mission to India. The Premiers seven-day visit to India in January aims to target new markets in infrastructure, information and communications, life sciences,replica prada, financial services,replica wallets, education and cultural industry.

The Ontario government sees the development of economic relations between Canada and India as very important. We want to strengthen our relationship and seize the limitless business opportunities with India, McGuinty said at a reception of the Ontario-India mission.

I have been going?to Skiathos?since 1985 and it never fails to deliver on what ever holiday you are looking for. A 3 and a half hour direct flight from Gatwick, Manchester or Birmingham and you are there. The island is only small, 12km by 6km but this doesn’t mean it lacks variation. The south side is inhabited with many smooth sandy beaches and hotels whereas the rougher north side has a very different appearance.

There are however many other beaches worth visiting and if you do not hire a car then the bus that runs the length of this side of the island makes travelling very easy. I would however certainly recommend hiring a car or going on a boating day trip to get over to the north side to visit Kastro, Mandraki and Lalaria. I have always said that the best way to see the island is from boat and many of the ski schools on the beaches have boats to hire.

The old port provides a nice contrast to the newer harbour and both are worth spending time in. There are many bars in the middle of town or if you prefer the club scene then you are in for a treat. Some of the best clubs I have been to that really get going in July and August. Many have an outside area along side the water and also an indoor dance floor with many bars. Worth a visit even if you don’t want to dance!

One last thing worth mentioning about the area is that there are three?other beautiful islands next door – Alonisos and Skopelos. Daily boat trips run from Skiathos harbour and it is worth taking a day out to visit.
